Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Leaf never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.
