Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

His hair is long and brown with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. His green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Born in the south to a Scribe, Whurbin learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Whurbin was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Scribe. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. After a long history of fighting, Melissa and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He got into the Carter business at a young age. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He has achieved small success as a Carter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact
