History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: He is fixated on the number 80. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and balancing his hectic life and new bookbinder responsibilities is difficult

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. Her white hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are gray.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. After a long history of fighting, Pyntle and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He likes to wear ponchos typically of a light brown in addition to tight pants. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His beige fur is matted, messy, and big. He is baby faced.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Cartwright for the past few years.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and balancing his hectic life and new cartwright responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He is a Doppelganger in disguise. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
