Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Roland lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Roland liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: She was born into a rich family. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Seeks redemption.

Description: This man wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his scythe with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His chestnut hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His eyes are blue.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born to a Carpenter, his father struggled to pay the bills. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and retire the richest man in the south

Description: 3'1" and lanky with angular features, she is an attractive figure. She wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with deerstalker hat. Her blonde hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and to share knowledge with the world
