History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: She got into the Apothecary business at a young age. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. After months of barely getting by, Gomory managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and a rival would like her out of the picture
