History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she is unsatisfied with her job
