History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Grom was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Grom was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Grom's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the north were limited. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end her boredom.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Seamstress responsibilities is difficult; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears baggy tan pantaloons and a green scarf. He is bald on top and has large red tufts of hair around his ears. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Bricklayer. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to unite with his brother

Description: This man stands a little under 4'1" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is renowned for his bright brown suits and hats. His chestnut hair is braided into rings. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
