Description: He wears dull brown sweaters, loose red pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed longsword, just in case. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He has several tiny ruby earrings on each ear.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Guy was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She wears silk and lounges about seductively. She sports a flattop hair cut. Her eyes are hazel and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She is a Yochlol in disguise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Butcher. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: Expand her business; and seeks redemption

Description: An older woman who is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, she is not a threatening figure. Her golden hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Many gnolls want her driven away.

Description: Her skin has the orange glow of too much sun. She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it. With wild white hair. Her violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. She uses divination through singing.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and to find somewhere to settle down

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears a tan tunic with blue highlights, and long brown pants that bunch up around his shoes. His blonde hair and beard is wavy and long. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are green.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Slave Trader arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and he feels kind of lost in life
