History: Keyleth lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered gnolls who tried to eat her hand. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Egelina was born with her father's beautiful face. In her 20th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Egelina was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the drow.
