History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end his boredom

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Gardener business.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Drifting grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: This woman loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. A true patriot, Astaro would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Astaro hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Astaro alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it.
