Description: This western woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. Her fur is white and curly. Her hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: She was born into a rich family. A freak accident while working with her Locksmith mother left her crippled. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Description: She is a paragon of her species. She is larger and stronger than most Gnomes. Her skin is light but she possesses many blue ritualistic tattoos. She prefers to wear tan pants and tee shirts. She has shaved her head bald. Her blue eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born in the east to a Mercenary, Tana learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. After coming to the age of reason, Tana took it upon herself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His hair is cut close to his head. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He works hard and plays hard.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: She is an average looking southern female in her early mid-life. She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. Her hair is cut close to her head. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She is a great chef.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Expand her business; and she is greedy

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He dresses like a well dressed Doctor does. His chestnut hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a deerstalker hat. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He is an amazing painter.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Diggory grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Diggory. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and further expansion of business
