History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When Akta reached her early adolescence her Tiefling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She bought a halberd and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Rimmon is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He now mingles about in high society.
