History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Tethren and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and retire the richest man in the west
