History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Orcs in Ûgakûga's homeland. Ûgakûga decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ûgakûga fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: Kristryd was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Kristryd has worked very hard to control her curse. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and a deep hatred of illithids

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with tan lining and desert motifs, and a wedding ring on his right hand. With bright auburn hair and a scraggly beard. His green eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Enialis was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Enialis decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
