Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Half-Elves. His skin is dark but he possesses many black ritualistic tattoos. He wears a violet vest and prefers black and tan shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He has no hair. His ears are large.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Through the years after Nim was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Nim's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Her first spouse was a Masseuse, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Apothecary and was forced into it by her family; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: Shifting speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She wears a red cloak and cross-gartered brown stockings. Her red hair is matted, messy, and big. Her eyes are amber and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Born in the south to a Barrister, Harriet learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her childhood dream was to be a Navigator, but she was a colossal failure. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Barrister and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
