History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Sammal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Roywyn is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Roywyn took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
