Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Shifting was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Shifting was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Miner arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Avice embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: Avice lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and to reunite with her absent father
