History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Nora alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Revenge; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Nim never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and balancing his hectic life and new miller responsibilities is difficult
