History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Cimer was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. Semyaza is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She dropped out of school to support her sick mother, and resented it. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.
