History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Tordek liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. History: Barbena lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Dariff was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared.
