Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His hair is long and red with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small white clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Shadow's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Armorer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She hates Half-Elves with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
