Description: He stands about 5'1" and wears a blue vest and prefers black and green shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He has red hair. His eyes are violet and catlike.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Paelias will drive conversation. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Paelias has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his shortbow, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. His hair is golden and very short. His gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes orcs are coming to abduct people. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting orcs, the young Eberdeb began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This woman wears a brown armored body suit, with a simple yellow line shooting up and back down, and sports empty pouches on her belt. She has wavy black hair. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Williamina was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Beggar hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural half-orc artifacts is her passion
