History: Born to a Interpreter, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Scribe father left him crippled. Recently the stress of being a Beggar has made it difficult for him to sleep.

History: Drifting was born with her mother's beautiful face. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Xanaphia and her spouse have recently divorced.
