History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Shoemaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Gifted from a young age, Mara studied abroad. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: Peter was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bricklayer for the past few years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and to be a fortune-teller again

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
