History: Born in the south to a Engraver, Bathin learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Mayor arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Brewer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Mayor, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After a long history of fighting, Jade and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She wants revenge against giants; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it
