History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Henk was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Apothecary. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He got into the Unemployed business at a young age. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Unemployed for the past few years.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her long blonde hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her brown eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. A true patriot, Valanthe would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the east. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To protect her home; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
