History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Through the years after Alexandre was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Alexandre's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Cartwright born in the past three hundred years. Pearl enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Pearl was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
