History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Syllin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. The war was a terrible time for him, and Tarhun does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with poetry. She constantly tries to fill her life with poetry. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: She got into the Barber business at a young age. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. Recently the stress of being a Barber has made it difficult for her to sleep.
