So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A freak accident while working with her Fortune-teller mother left her crippled. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Marigold liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well.
