History: Roywyn was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears dark leathers with embroidery. She wears a top hat to cover her moderate length green crest. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying west to reunite her family. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Dwarves. His skin is light but he possesses many white ritualistic tattoos. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He has dyed his greying white hair a little too much giving a sharp white color. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to get a good night's sleep
