History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Srorthen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Laborer. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Laborer for hire.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Art reached her early adolescence her Tabaxi father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and her religion dominates her actions

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
