Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. The war was a terrible time for him, and Modean does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Modean reached his early adolescence his Tiefling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This woman wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. She is muscular with a powerful set of arms. Her white hair is cut short. Her blue eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is obsessed with her god.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His gray fur is thinning but still full. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are green.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and money/treasure

Description: This man stands a little under 5'1" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears tattered old clothes. With a patchy blonde beard and wild blonde hair. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to share knowledge with the world
