Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tabaxis in Shivering's homeland. Shivering decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
