History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Tawna is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Nurkara embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Nurkara abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is her passion
