Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Stableman but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Baern was born the youngest of three triplets. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Stableman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Numba is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with her Slave Trader father left her crippled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Kite grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortbow.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to prove her worth to the world
