History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Prosperine alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Personality: He is a Miner first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Umpen was born with his mother's beautiful face. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Miner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miner work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers.
