History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Gifted from a young age, Avice studied abroad. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Knight for the past few years.
