History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Volen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Spice Merchant but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs
