Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. Adelard enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. After coming to the age of reason, Don took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

His red fur, when down, is lengthy. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: River was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving River alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now owns his own business.
