To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did John. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Xanaphia was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the north. A freak accident while working with her Dyer mother left her crippled. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
