He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Dain and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Frug was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: Ethereal was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Aline was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Aline's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south; and wants to work out more often
