Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Ralf was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. Miles enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he is greedy

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright tan and red, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Her hair is short and black. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are amber.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A freak accident while working with her Weaver father left her crippled. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Callybon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Efferil lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.
