History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Sage arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 2 years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing her hectic life and new sage responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. Gunter is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and an old rival family wants him found
