Gerard Dryden, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is in excellent shape and wears an entirely grey suit with black socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His black hair, when down, is lengthy. His eyes are a pleasant blue.
Personality: He is fixated on the number 46. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gerard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: Gerard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and an old rival family wants him found

Heward Acton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is wearing a tight brown one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. He carries with him a set of falchions, each one with a emerald on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. Sporting a silver mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Dilettante born in the past three hundred years. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Dilettante. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Dilettante responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job
