Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Shanairla was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Shanairla decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She works hard and plays hard.

History: Claira hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Claira alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Claira was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: She wants revenge against gnolls; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
