History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Quarion grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mortician. He's also a talented Courier, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. She worked as a nervous Beggar and found it very stressful. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Beggar for hire.
