History: Sweet was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the south to a Tanner, Erias learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Through the years after Kristryd was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Kristryd's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
