History: Paelias lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gillyd grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Gillyd was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to drow.
