Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Hugh's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Hugh was born with his father's beautiful face. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Avice fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
