History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ilanis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. After coming to the age of reason, Ilanis took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: The child of a Dyer, who enjoyed hunting, Ernest was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He worked as a nervous Scribe and found it very stressful. He now owns his own business.
